I believe that mothers are special and I really love them a lot. I have however not met many mothers that so remind me of my own mum. You were so elegant and beautiful; disciplined and focused. I still remember your soft yet distinct voice. You spoke with great insight and understanding. You exemplified an attitude of gratitude and each time we got off the phone speaking with you, my husband would deliver a message on how we could all learn a thing or two from your constant expression of thanks. You were not afraid of confronting change and stubbornly holding-on to what you believe to be right (I am smiling a very knowing smile right now). Most important of all was your love for God, your persistence in the place of prayer, the spiritually studious life you maintained and your resilient faith. I and all my family will always remember you with love. I am particularly grateful to God who has blessed us with the gift of a mother as wonderful as you; we call you blessed!
